Mar Perez

Mar Esmeralda Perez Salgado is a paralegal who has been with Borjas Law Group since May 2023. She specializes in humanitarian-based applications and has a goal of providing understanding, compassionate, and efficient service to our clients. Ms. Perez Salgado, being an immigrant herself, understands the various struggles and barriers that her community faces and is working toward a future that is more united. She graduated from DePaul University in 2026 as a first-generation student, earning a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with minors in English Literature and Political Science. Her studies have helped her develop a deeper understanding of human experience across all cultures and communities. She hopes to continue her education in the legal field.
